Sansa Shaker MP3 player for kids

shakerblue.jpg

Designed for kids, the Sansa Shaker MP3 player features a number of ways to enjoy and share songs, including two headphone jacks, a built-in speaker to listen without ear buds, and the ability to play SD cards loaded with your favorite music. To change songs, youngsters shake the device to jump to another song. Fun, eh? If they're feeling more mature they can use a simple controller band for moving forward and back through their song library.

A second band -- see it on the top -- changes the volume. The Sansa Shaker is available in pink and blue; it comes equipped with a USB cable, lanyard, five pre-loaded songs, and an array of stickers so kids can customize their device. One AAA battery allows up to 15 hours of battery life when using a single pair of headphones, but it's more fun to share with the second headphone jack.

It's made to grow with toddlers since the Sansa Shaker comes with a 512MB SD flash memory card which holds up to 125 MP3 songs. It's a standard SD card slot so it's easy to swap out flash memory cards. Available late April for a suggested retail price of $39.99.

If my iPod wouldn't get jealous, I'd get one.
