Magnetic hangers keep the clothes in order

Magnetichangers.jpg

In the hands of a design student, even something as common and predictable as a clothes hanger can be improved upon. Daniel To's magnetic hangers are designed to remove the need for a clothing rail inside the wardrobe. The magnet at the tip of the hanger clicks straight onto the top of the wardrobe (assuming it's made of metal, that is) and eliminates the need for a hook, which I always find a little fiddly anyway.

The only questions are: can it hold up the weight of heavy winter jackets and will it negotiate wardobes that have built-in clothing rails? On the other hand, these hangers might look pretty neat in a stylish boutique.
