The furniture industry from across the world is descending upon the New Milan Fairgrounds in Rho, for the Salone Del Mobile 2007. The entire city of Milan is overtaken for the event. Close to a quarter of a million visitors are expected to visit the 2500+ exhibitors showcasing work. Major furniture manufacturers and designers display their current lines, which are complimented by off-site exhibitors who reveal conceptual and experimental designs that reach for the leading edge.

The SaloneSatellite is an affiliated exhibition showing the emerging new talents of 500 young designers and 200 students who will be propelling the industry into the future.

The fair opens on Wednesday April 18 and runs until April 23rd, which means visitors will be racing about Milan for a week trying to see everything.
