Belkin Conceal Surge Protector

(Warning: graphic photos! ) Regular Popgadget readers will remember we did a contest with Belkin not long ago where we gave away some of their ingenious office tools to organize your work space. I decided to take a personal challenge and attack my tween daughter's computer morass.

Admitedly, most folks won't find a flip flop behind the hard drive or dust bunnies the size of a 747, and maybe not everyone has two keyboards (she's testing out a spill-proof, water-proof board for me), but the computer cords are everyone's heartache.
So Belkin provided their Conceal Surge Protector, which is supposed to organize your cables and keep them out of view with a unique closing cover. It provides 11 surge-protected outlets (6 regular, 4 BlockSpace, 1 convenience) and I'm going to need every one of them. Besides the basics, we've got the DS Lite, iHome alarm clock, the web cam ,the miFlower speaker, the . . . I'm not even sure what some of them connect to. As I plug everything into a grounded outlet, it already begins to look cleaner, more organized.
Did Mackenzie notice? Not a chance. "After photo" after the jump.
