Dragon I iPod speakers

DragoniiPodspeakers.jpg

Smart Design calls it a Dragon I but it makes me think of a Gorgon instead. You get the idea, though: speakers fixed to the end of a flexible stem, so they can be adjusted in just about any direction. Designed for the iPod (i.e. the U2 red-and-black iPod, one can't help but think), it's the speaker system that doubles up as the centrepiece of a living room and will keep your guests guessing what it can do.

Each speaker is 5 watts and the system can accommodate other MP3 players too, with a mini stereo connector. I wonder if it'll eventually come in classic iPod white?

Available for €249 come April. Via Core77.
