Laser Scissors - shear genius

Talk about cutting edge technology! Okay, I'll stop now.

With a Star Wars-like laser pointer, these scissors give a guide line to cut, eliminating crooked cuts. The scissor blades are stainless steel and cut very clean with a micro-serrated edge. Boy, I could use a pair of these! $19.98 at Get Organized. But beware, this site induces fits of organizational frenzy, followed by exteme exhaustion.

They do look nifty, but it seems to me if your hand isn't very steady, you'd still want an outside reference (ruler, etc...) to be sure the line isn't drifting. With both, I can see that cutting might be less of a concern.
