Nvey Eco organic makeup

Nvey_Eco.jpg

If you're truly passionate about going organic, and already eat organic foods and use organic skincare, perhaps your next step might be to consider organic makeup. Nvey Eco is a line of makeup from Australia that promises no parabens, no synthetic preservatives, no SLS, no propylene glycol, GM-free ingredients, no petroleum-based ingredients and no talc. Nvey Eco doesn't test on animals, and is certified by Organic Food Chain, a leading organic accreditation body in Australia.

What the products do contain are nourishing ingredients such as safflower oil, sweet almond oil, natural beeswax, chamomile, jojoba oil, rose absolute, and vitamins A, B5, C and E. The range is reasonably comprehensive, if not particularly exciting, with foundations, powders, concealers, blushes, lipsticks, lipglosses, eyeshadows, mascaras and a brush kit. Colours are limited (it's no MAC), at least for now. I haven't had a chance to play with the products yet, but a personal worry is that they - seemingly designed for dry, sensitive skins - would just slide off my oily face.

Nvey Eco is currently available in Australia, the USA and Singapore (contact them to find a stockist in your country).
