LED Candles

I'm surprised that the Museum of Modern Art, and not Smokey Bear, is behind these Smart Candles. Not that I don't think fire safety is important to MoMA, but don't you think candles powered solely by LEDs would be the perfect centerpiece for a new "Only You Can Prevent . . ." campaign? The candles run for 50 hours on 4 AAA batteries and produce no heat, no scent, and of course no flame.
And don't worry about ruining the mood: the LED flickers to simulate a traditional wax candle's flame. Nothing says "romance" like safe, controlled, battery-powered ambiance.
Available now for $26.

Check Amazon.com. They've been selling led candles from numerous vendors since the middle of last year. They were all the rage for Christmas 2006 gifts, too.
Also, I bought my led candles at Bealls for 2 for $20.00. Numerous colors & some are scented.
