Casio Exilim EX-Z65 compact digital camera

Of all the consumer electronics brands out there, Casio is the one I most associate with my childhood. So even though they've been selling digital point-and-shoot cameras for over 10 years already, I still have to remind myself that they make more than the little red keyboard my sister got for Christmas and those $10 digital watches my father still wears.
The new 6.2-megapixel Exilim EX-Z65 should make remembering Casio's 21st-century offerings much easier, especially because I think it would be a great camera replacement for my mom. It's got a 2.6-inch wide LCD display, 3x optical zoom, easy shooting mode, and antishake DSP technology to combat the dreaded camera-shake and blurry photos.

The EX-Z65 is slated for release in Europe later this month. It looks to be priced at about $260, but it will likely be less if it becomes available in the U.S.
