Asus A626 stainless steel PDA
At a time when so many new gadgets clamor to be everything to everyone, it's incredibly rare and refreshing to find one that is content with just being what it is. Nothing more, nothing less.
The ultra thin (1.57 cm) Asus A626, for example, is a PDA that is just a PDA. Sporting a stainless steel casing and 3.5" anti-glare touchscreen (240 x 320), the Windows Mobile 5.0 device features an Intel XScale 312MHz processor, 128MB ROM, 64MB SDRAM, Bluetooth 2.0, wireless connectivity (802.11b/g), built-in microphone, and speakers. Basically, then, it's exactly like a smartphone . . . without the "phone" part.
Available now in China and parts of Europe, the Asus A626 is supposedly destined for the U.S. and Thailand. Exact dates and pricing are currently unknown.

The Palm Z22 is a plain vanilla (but very functional) PDA. And at a reasonable price, too.
