Widgets for yor desk
Since primarily using Apple's OS X for the last year, I've really come to rely on the widget feature of Dashboard to get everything from the weather to airplane flight information. Now, Windows users are getting into the action with Vista's similar apps.
Widgetstation provides similar features in a sleek, well-desigend, stand-alone device, which makes it much more than your run-of-the-mill desk clock. It's got wifi and and ethernet connectivity, so it doesn't need to be attached to a computer to get feeds. But if you do, it does have a usb port. So far, the widgets showcased on the website are rather standard: clock, weather, calendar, and webcam browser; however more are on their way.
Seen in Time Out New York.
