USB tape dispenser

USBtapedispenser.jpg

What better way to make use of some of that dead space on a conventional tape dispenser, I guess - trick it out with 4 built-in USB ports. EarthTrek's newest offering is an unlikely combination but one that I imagine serves a twofold purpose: it adds a little weight to the USB hub so that it's not lost or swept away among papers and other desk accessories, and it saves space for someone who's really maximised every square inch of their desk space.

Compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems, the ports are USB 2.0 and can be rotated 180 degrees so that ports can face different directions - maybe that'll help to keep all the USB cables straight. And the dispenser/hub comes with a 1.2 metre extension cable, so that you don't have to park it right beside your computer if you don't want to.

No retail price available yet. Via Electronista.
