Let your cell phone go a little green

If you like plants and/or personalising your cell phone, how'd you like to carry a little micro garden around with you? These wee plantlets come in their own little bottles with attached cell phone straps. No daily watering or Tamagotchi-style parenting skills required. The colourful nutrient gel in the bottle will keep them going for 6-8 months. In fact, it's even suggested that they not be exposed to direct sunlight. Wouldn't want them bursting out of their bottles now, would we? The garden comes in either leafy or cactus varieties, nestled in a bed of cheerful pink or blue gel. Just don't, er, drop your phone or its lifespan might be abruptly cut short.

Available for $9.50 from Dirty Microbe, which imports all sorts of neat Japanese accessories.
