Smart Shopper

Until there's a frig that can do the grocery shopping for you, the Smart Shopper may be the next best thing. It's a voice activated note taker...just press a button and say, for instance, "coffee," and that item will appear on the LCD. When you are ready to shop, simply press print and your list comes right out of the unit.
The SmartShopper comes pre-programmed with 2,500 items and then you just add your own unique items (for me, that would be Starbucks Java Chip Ice Cream). Since it uses thermal paper which doesnt require ink cartridges or replacement, and runs on batteries, it's easy to operate (one would assume). You can also add your errands to the list and it will print those out at the top.
Though not cheap at $149, it may still end up being the most used item in your kitchen.
For now it's available at their site, Neiman Marcus and JC Penney catalogs, and they are rolling it out to retail stores soon.
