Show off your Mii

wii_girls.jpg

I've been too busy to buy a Wii, but my friends all have them, and Wii-mania is all over the place. I know that everyone has been making stylized representations of themselves to place in-game, and I think that's great. Not surprisingly, there are now a couple of options to move that cute little face into the real world. I bet that Nintendo is kicking themselves for not thinking of it first.

Mr. Cloud is offering bespoke printed t-shirts of either the full Mii body, or a glamour shot of the cute little face. It's all pretty simple; just add Mr. Cloud as a Wii friend (6977 3899 7312 2585) and send all the pertinent data from one game console to another. You'll pay £24.99 for the privilege, but at least no one else will have a copy of your Mii-shirt.

Allison Q. McCarthy and Mr. Thiel have teamed up to offer custom sculptures of Wii's, but they are not yet available. Fairly soon a few techno junkies will be able to purchase custom made statues modeled after their digital creations. Demand has been ridiculous since first announcing the plan, and to raise capital for production the team will be offering a few eBay auctions for the first batch of custom. Check their site on February 1st for the official auction announcement.
