U-Ram Choe at bitforms NYC

The bitforms gallery NYC is presenting Korean artist U-Ram Choe's first US solo show. His work combines organic forms with machinery to produce eerie sculptures which react to light and heat. His pieces reference everything from the sculptures of Lee Bontecou and Damien Hirst to the fossils you might find at the American Museum of Natural History. I'm further intrigued by Choe's decision to include written narratives around his pieces, which complete the world he has imagined.
This show is currently open and runs until January 20, 2007.
