TuneView for iPod

Remember the TuneView remote for the iPod which was due for release in May this year but never turned up ? Well, after the looong speculation on whether it would ever see the light of day, the rumors have been finally laid to rest with the maker, Keyspan announcing the shipment of the TuneView in North America.
And the specs haven’t changed from what was announced earlier. You can rig up the TuneView system to browse and manage your iPod from anywhere within the house. With its offerings of a 2-way RF remote (with a color LCD screen) and a universal iPod dock that is compatible with almost all iPods, you can access your music without depending on your PC or iPod. The remote supports four languages – English, French, German and Spanish -- and the dock can be used to sync your iPod with a PC or Mac. The drawback is that the remote works only with the TuneView dock.
The TuneView retails at $179 with all leading retailers in N.A. It is expected to be available outside N.A in January 2007.
