The Krug Escape Artist Collection
Here is something for the most discerning connoisseur. Renewing its collaboration with bespoke trunk-maker Pinel & Pinel, the House of Krug launches the Krug Escape Artist Collection, a limited edition of 3 styles of trunks, 10 of each design, and each creation carefully numbered. One of the 3 designs offers style and glamour in shimmering silver, lined in blush pink. Concealed within is a state-of-the-art Samsung T9 MP3 video player with Bluetooth technology and a JBL “On Tour Plus” sound system, alongside two bottles of Krug Rosé, all designed for a sensational entertainment experience.
The second design comes in red calfskin exterior, with brown calfskin lining, along with 2 bottles of Krug Grande Cuvée & gambling set. The blue lambskin exterior and off-white calfskin lined trunk is the third design. It houses 2 bottles of Krug Vintage 1995, cigar cutter, holder and lighter.
In addition to their personalized features, all Krug Escape Artist Trunks contain four Baccarat crystal glasses, a Krug stopper and a Krug champagne cooler, created exclusively for the collection by leading designer François Bauchet. Last but not least, a secret drawer holding four coasters.
You know what they say about “If you have to ask...,” but of course we’re all curious about how much such things cost. So I’ll tell ya. Each of these little trunks will set you back about 15,000 euros, that’s approximately $17,000 USD. Taking the whole set, anybody?
