I have to say that the original Mathmos Airswitch lamp is a piece of genius. Looks great, original design, all that you'd want from an innovative company like Mathmos. Unfortunately, I've been let down by their recently released lamps, and disappointingly, the Airswitch O is no different. Young designer, Oliviero Zanon, has taken the unique form of the original, and turned it into a standard wall lamp. Still, being able to turn a lamp on and vary its brightness by simply waving your hand is always fun.
