Computer magazines from back in the day.

Here is yet another reason why I love the Internet.

The Classic Computer Magazine Archive is saving a record of computer related periodicals which were started in the 70s and 80s. These magazines recall the days long past when personal computers were contained within the domain of nerds (like myself.) Magazines on the site include: Antic, various Compute! titles, and the Whiz Kids comic book. I was disappointed to find that they weren't able to include "Personal Computing," which I read for years.

They say you can't go back, which I'm sure is true, but a visit now and again doesn't hurt either.

Jimbo:

I have about 8 years worth of old Compute and other PC magazines from that era. It's fun to breeze back through some of them and see how things have changed and how much prices have dropped.
