30 Days of Napkin Folding

napkin_folding.jpg

How many different ways are there to fold a napkin? Yes, you're right, 2436! Well done! Only 30 of them are any good though. Those of you who are obsessed with dining presentation (I'm sure there's a term for the art of setting tables), or are just plain bored, should check out this new book. 30 Days of Napkin Folding covers 30 cool ways to fold your napkins so as to either impress your guests or scare them into never coming for dinner again.

$15/£7.60 at Vincon.

Jen:

Well, those little napkin people are somewhere well beyond Cute! What a fun find.

But can't you just see the tofurkey turning black in the oven, while Susie Hostess struggles to get the little napkin arms just the right length?
And then the nonplussed dinner guests sitting in awed silence, staring at their individual place settings, wondering whether to unwrap that cutlery and eat, or just have a whopping good game of Barbie dolls until the tapas run out...

I'd love to give this book to my best friend's OCD mother-in-law, hee hee!
