V-MODA Remix M-class earphones

Just as there is an "M" class Mercedes (but MB won't give me one of those to review, go figure) there are Remix M-class earphones.
The "Music Lifestyle Brand" V-Moda launched it's new collection last week with the new M series which delivers the same high-fidelity sound as their modaphones but in some of the new Nano colors. There are shiny new colors to choose from, including metallic pink, blue, silver
but my favorite in the polished alloy silver.
Personally, I care more about the sound than fashion when it comes to ear buds and these beat my Shure EC2s easily, which up to now have been my favorite. The difference is most notable in the bass (122dB at 20Hz). I haven't taken them off since I started testing them. Audio enthusiasts will be thrilled by the clean, mid-range as well as the enhanced bass . V-Moda already made a name for itself with the bass frq ear buds, which make you feel like you're in the middle of a pulsating dance club, but these fit the bill for more general listening.
Not just a comfort touch, the earphone pads that they come with provide deeper bass, as well as warmer mids and highs that have a better "natural" sound. The Remixes also come with the Modawrap cable manager, which makes it easy to adjust the length of the cable and keep the wires from tangling.
Available for $50 at V-Moda, Urban Outfitters, and Virgin Megastores.
