Seniora fork chair by Ignacio Ruiz

I really should have stuck with my Spanish lessons. Because I was too busy goofing off all I can say is "Tengo una fiesta en mis pantalones." Had I studied harder I would be able to translate the homepage of Ignacio Ruiz Gutierrez H., and elaborate on the amazing pieces that he has been designing. Judging from the portfolio work on his coroflot profile this 20 year old student from Guadalajara, Mexico has already begun to make strides towards becoming an iconic designer.
These award winning Seniora chairs could be the word-on-the-street talking point for any new restaurant, and I imagine that they would get some serious props from Mr. Eames, Mr. Gehry and Mr. Starck. The soft curves and wood pattern would match any number of decorating schemes, and the natural shape makes it a warm chair with a perfect amount of irreverence. Dinnertime is supposed to be fun, and these chairs make it so. Good work, Ignacio.
There's no word on pricing or distribution yet, but I'll make some inquiries and report back. And I totally saw this on the site with the light(bulb), Design Spotter.

If you have any problem with Spanish translations you just have to ask ;)

Hmm this seems quite similar to Easy Edges. Frank Gehry's chairs...appropriation?
