Recycled aluminum pull tab purses by Escama

These purses, made from recycled aluminum pull tabs, remind me of the beaded purses I loved when I was a kid. They seem to have that same inviting, bumpy texture. Four different designs, each made in a variety of different colors, are available from Escama, and range in price from $32 (for the makeup bag) to $160 (for the large shoulder bag).
Via American Inventor Spot. Thanks to MIchelle for the tip.

Has anybody run into the "chain mail armor" that shows up at Renaissance Fairs made of these pop-tops?

Have you seen the purses made from chip bags? They are recylced chip bags! The greatest thing is that ALL of the profits go back to the community they were made in! WOW! www.basurabags.org
