iKaraoke: karaoke for iPod

ikaraoke.jpg

Consider yourself warned. iKaraoke is coming to a home near you. Griffin, which makes some of the smartest devices for the iPod, has devised a diabolical system where the iKaraoke sends the music from your iPod to your stereo MINUS the lead vocals.

That means all your drunken friends can contribute the lead . With the mic, you can pause music, scan back and forward, even temporarily add the vocals in case you get lost, or add in reverb effects.

iKaraoke hooks up to your stereo via line-in cable, or wirelessly through your FM receiver. It's going to be VERY popular at Christmas parties this year.

It's due out next month at Griffin Technology and your neighborhood Apple store, and will cost approx. $49.99.
