Computer Hood provides intimacy with your device

While at the beach last summer, I tried taking my laptop outside to work, but the bright sunlight totally washed out my screen, so I could see nothing. I tried putting a towel over my head and the computer, and that worked for a little while, until the wind blew away the towel. I'm sure it looked pretty silly too; I could just imagine little kids walking by and wondering about the weirdo under the towel.
This concept product, the Computer Hood, looks so ridiculous, and yet I think it would be really useful if we could get over appearances. Not only would it provide shade, but privacy too (which is what it's designed for). I'd love to have it for my next plane ride so the guy seated next to me can't see what's on my screen (not that he would care a smidge). And I'd kindly suggest it to those people on trains who find it necessary to talk very loudly on their cell phones, announcing all kinds of creepy details of their lives -- I would think this would somewhat muffle their voices.

Update and clarification: Apparently, I didn't make it clear enough that this is purely a concept product, not available for sale anywhere (see comment below). If it were for sale, I'm sure I'd be the only customer.

Somehow i was under the impression that the "desktop hoodie" was a commentary on the obsession with electronics that can obscure interaction with the real world. Something about the feature that 'records the sounds from the outside world onto mp3 for later reference' leads me to believe that I am right and you are wrong to consider this a real consumer product.
