Cups: measuring and numbered
Maybe the fact that I am about to start baking a cake for my guests this evening has drawn my attention to these kitchen items while visiting some of my regular sites. Or maybe it’s just the fact that they are both quite cool.
The adjustable measuring cup is definitely a must-have. This scoop looking kitchen utensil has a sliding knob that lets you adjust the measuring compartment to the desired size. The small adjustable measuring cup can hold a maximum of 2 tablespoons of both dry and liquid ingredients and the bigger version a maximum of ½ cup. The appliance has an integrated magnet at the bottom which allows you to attach it to magnetic surfaces in the kitchen.
Available at the Moma Store for $33.00 (via SCI FI Tech).
The Number Cups won’t help you measure any ingredients, but they sure will help you keep track of your cups. The handle of each cup is a different number from 1 to 9, making each cup unique within the same design style. The Number Cups will become quite handy during your next tea party, providing your guest with a reliable clue when trying to remember which one of the many cups on the table is theirs. The only shortcoming: you can only have 9 guests.

About the cups: Multiple sets can be bought, then each set can be painted different colors, or patterns. Solves the problem of having more than nine guests. :)
