Casio GPR-100 GPS watch

casio_GPS.jpg

Where am I?! What year is it?! Who's the president?! You would think Casio's new GPR-100 GPS watch for long-distance runners would answer at least one of those questions, but instead it uses its GPS feature to tell you the speed and distance covered when you're out and about, in real time! The speedometer is the smallest and lightest of its kind, measuring 63.1 x 49.5 x 17.1mm and weighing 64 grams. The watch also receives "information from GPS satellites to show the correct time wherever the user may be around the world." Wow! The future is now! And can be yours for 54,000 yen ($455/£244)!

The Casio GPR-100 has just been announced in Japan, so expect it to hit the rest of the world in 2042.
