An even thinner mobile phone: the Card Phone II

Previously, I posted about the Samsung P300, a 10mm thick mobile phone. Dubbed the Card Phone, the P300 doesn't quite have the same thickness of a standard credit card. Samsung is getting closer with the SGH-P310 or Card Phone II, which comes in at a mere 8.5mm. Somehow, the Samsung designers have managed to cram in a 2 megapixel phone, touch sensor screen, music / video player with 80MB of storage, and Blue Tooth.
The SGH-P310 is set to be released in Europe and Asia in September / October of 2006.

How can this be? 10 mm (aka a centimeter) is a bit smaller than half an inch... not exactly credit card thinness.
Yo soy confused.

Good catch. Thanks. I need to be more careful with my late night posting.
