A trip with Trip Clip

tripclip.JPG

A pair of “trip” clips to hold up the ends of your jeans from sweeping the floor ? Some may call it absurd while some may finally have a solution to avoid ripping the ends of their jeans. As for me, I like the spirit of this invention. It reaffirms my opinion that one can find a market for just about anything – only if one is prepared to seriously examine everyday problems and find simple and smart ways of solving them.

Coming back to the point, the Trip Clip from Terra Plana is a simple plastic clip that attaches to your trousers with an elastic cord around your ankle, ensuring that your baggy trousers are always held just above the ground. Available in cool lime and orange colors, the clip is priced at $9 each and can be ordered online. Only, be prepared for some ribbing as you won’t score very high in the style department while you are using them.

Jill:

It is an interesting idea, since I have the exact same problem with my jeans. But, like you mentioned, those clips are incredibly ugly, and my solution is a safety pin - if done with care you can't see the pin at all, and it has the same result.

I suppose wearing pants that fit is out of the question?
