This video has been circulating various blogs, but the artwork by Royal de Luxe is so amazing, that I had to post about it. Last spring in London, this puppet spent the day, getting dressed, playing with kids and taking a nap. Her movements are so eerily real that you ignore the pulleys and mechanisms which control her motion. Here, the analogue holds its own against the increasingly digital world. I love how the puppeteers are in costume as well.
