Well really, all that the Onion Goggles are going to help you with is to prevent tears when you are cutting onions. No rocket science here – the goggles have foam seal around the edges that keep out the tear-causing fumes while you are chopping onions. The advantage of these goggles is that they are worn like normal spectacles and do not have an elastic band holding them in place.
