iSoundCap

ipod%20cap%20%283%29.jpg

This is the latest in iPod accessories; a cap that neatly fits your Nano or Shuffle and does away with those pesky dangling wires. The obvious advantage is for gym rats, runners, and bicylists, though I can tangle my headphone wires even when just taking the pups for a walk.

As you can see from the photo, the iSoundCap features a tight compartment stitched right into the cap. It even has a tight sleeve for the wires and a spool to keep them neatly wrapped up. Though specifically designed for the Nano and the Shuffle, it will fit other MP3 players. The company is also working on visors and t-shirts with special compartments.

Why didn't I think of this?

$29.95 from the iSoundCap website.

(iSoundCap is giving away a couple of these as prizes in an upcoming contest for Popgadget readers, to be announced this week.)

Michael G:

It is so easy to stael a hat off of someones head. This will be easy to spot the guys who are going to get robbed. Especially when the big LOGO alerts every theif that it holds an mp3 player.

Alfredo Fernandes:

Its so stupid, who will run with this? the cap can fall from head, or be steal!

Sherri:

Sure it might be easy to steal a hat off someone who is fairly stationary, but I am interested in getting one to use while running - not standing still. I think most thieves are too lazy to try to chase a runner to steal their hat. I think the iSoundCap is a GREAT idea.

Jan:

This is a great product. I have the Ladies Running hat and I could not be happier. Great design, great fit all around great idea.
