Hydracoach
My husband never fails to nag me about how little water I drink and to deliver sermons on the varied health benefits of drinking at least 8 glasses of water daily. My rather weak response to that has always been that I probably drink more than that. But just between you and me, I really have no clue about how much water I am gulping everyday.
The Hydracoach is definitely going to help me in this area. This intelligent water bottle can track all the details about your water intake for the day. In the morning, you just specify your personal hydration goal, or simply put, how much water you want to take in for that day. From then on, every sip you take will be recorded. At any time, the built-in display can be used to view how far you are progressing. In the true spirit of a coach, it also goads you into carrying on towards your target.
The shape of the bottle is not going to win any of those design awards, but its tagline of "Thinks While You Drink" sure is catchy. I can imagine athletes, and fitness and outdoor enthusiasts rushing to grab it when it hits the stores in December. As for me, the $30 that it will cost me to buy this, will ensure one less issue to be argued about in the house.
