Custom color bevels for Sony LCD flat panels
Historically, most consumer electronics products have been characterized by the extensive usage of grey, black and silver colors. That has changed in recent times with all kinds of funky colors being used, especially for personal gadgets like portable mp3 players and mobile phones. However, traditional mainstream products like TV sets have been slow to move onto the color bandwagon.
In an effort to change that, Sony is offering its brand new Bravia XBR LCD Panels with custom colored bevels. The choice of colors include arctic white, pacific blue, velvet black, scarlet red and sienna brown.
The panels themselves are top of the line with full HD 1080p video inputs and the superb picture quality that you've come to expect from the Bravia range. Using the PC connectivity feature, these can also be used as monitors to view media from your PC. Combined with these colorful bevels, the panels are nothing short of works of art and can complement any decor.
Each of these bevels will set you back by a cool $299, but this should not be a problem for folks willing to shell out $4,299 for the 46" KDL-46XBR2 or $3,499 for the 40" KDL-40XBR2.

You are aware that arctic white and velvet black aren't exactly revolutionary new colours :)
Still, looks a bit nicer in the picture.
