Kensington FM transmitter & car charger for iPods

Kensington%20FM%20transmittercar%20charger.jpg

Yet ANOTHER FM transmitter and car charger for your iPod, you ask?

My brother, a real gadget-head, turned me on to the Kensington RDS thingy-majig .
What I like about it is that you can see the song and artist's name displayed on your car stereo . It has 3 easy to use FM pre-sets and, if you believe everything you read, the "ClearFM technology reduces noise and enhances stereo separation providing superior wireless audio quality and FM reception."

The unusual design ensures that it can fit most hard-to-reach car power outlets, and the nifty black body and stainless steel accents most car types.

I want one.

Available for $89.99 from Kensington.

Jose Antonio Valle:

When i first saw it at apple store in san diego i was very sceptic cause i already own one FM transmiter (a very bad one) and spending another 90 bucks on this one was hard at first.

But i said what the heck if it doesn't work it goes back to the store. and from minute 1 after connecting the ipod i am very very surprised.

The audio quality is far better than anyone i tried before (about 5 or 6 diferent types)

If you are an audiophille who can detect any minor distortion, then maybe this is not for you - but must give it a try, it might convince you. For the rest of us (about 99.9%) it is a go go go!!!

It certenlly overcome all my expectations.

I live in mexico, and have a PC and about 6 months ago i bought my own IPOD (cause i am stuck with pc's and my last car had MP3 stereo, the new one doesn't!!!) Don't think that i am trying to sell you keingston products or ipod accesories.
if you have any questions regarding this coment please send me an email
