Strangely enough, the only retailer listed on the website for the US is a bicycle parts store?!?!?!? The Canadian network of retailers also includes bicycle parts stores, but adds in golf equipment stores, and even . . . a few kitchen stores . . . imagine that! Guess I’ll stick to ordering online for this one!

I bought a Banana Guard (in Vancouver) and it is definitely a must for the busy banana lover. Beware though, you might get some snickers from your coworkers the first time they see you take the uniquely shaped plastic case out of your bag.

With the price of bananas in Australia now (post cyclone Larry, our banana crops were pretty much wiped out) - around $16 per kg - this little device protects an INVESTMENT!
