Zooka Zen V watch
Lately, I've been running into a series of ridiculous but cool looking watches, so I'd like to pick up on a previous post by our very own Camilla, who wrote about the EG watch by TokyoFlash.
Soon after I read her post, I ran into a friend who was sporting a Nooka Zot watch:
Then just the other day, I read somewhere that Nooka came out with another design named Zen V.
Now, I’m not sure if this is more or less difficult to read than its previous designs, Zot or Zoo , but it’s still pretty cool looking. Though if I need to download a whole instruction manual in order to learn how to tell time, I have some hesitation. So what I plan to do is just wear the watch to look cool -- ‘cause I am that vain, plus it’s a wonderful conversational piece -- but if anyone asks me what time it is, I would have to look at my cell phone to see the actual time! Who says a girl can't have it all!

It isn't rocket science:
5 black blocks in 1st column = 5 (hours)
third column: black up to the '45' mark = 45 (minutes)
=> time = 5.45am
(if it was 5 black blocks in 2nd column it would be 5.45pm).
No manual needed, just 15 seconds of working it out from the picture. You're supposed to be a site about tech for women, not a vindication of the ditzy stereotype of 'I'm only a woman; I don't want to know about all that complicated technology stuff as long as it looks pretty'!
