Posture: the forgotten angle
Do you slouch? Designer Chelsea Kostek has created a series of "postural cues" to remind you to stand tall. The accessories can be worn over garments and both adorn and direct the body to remain erect. The designer aimed for subtle feedback with minimal boning, in order to remind the wearer to retain good posture. While the aesthetic speaks to the torturous undergarments of previous eras, there may be something to the idea that clothing can and should provide some degree of ergonomic support. After all, if you can't take your Aeron chair with you, what else could be better for the RSI-prone worker on the go?
