iBook no, MacBook go
Apple has finally announced the latest line in their range of laptops - the MacBook. Just when it seemed that every new product under the sun was named with a preceding i, Apple has ditched it and replaced it with Mac. They claim they would like to have the word Mac in every one of their computer lines. I'm not sure why they think it's so special - I live in Scotland, a place where every second person I meet has Mac at the beginning of their name. Apple is not only moving from the iBook to the MacBook, they're also adding an option for matte black casing instead of the usual snow white. The base model contains an updated processor in the form of a 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo processor, along with 512MB of memory and a 60GB hard drive. With an iSight camera, WiFi built-in as standard and one lovely looking keyboard, it's time to start saving. Maybe I could get one free, that is, if I can prove I'm a distant relative of the MacBook clan.

They've still got the iMac... Although it would be funny if they renamed it the MacMac.
Wocka Wocka Wocka Wocka...
