Eco Kettle

eco_kettle.jpg

Do you know anyone who actually bothers to measure out the exact amount of water they need to boil for a cup of tea? If you're like me, you just run the faucet in the kettle for whatever amount, slap it on the burner and end up boiling way too much water. But this wastes a lot energy (more than you think), water and boiling time - I know, so obvious, but I never really gave it much thought. The Eco Kettle makes it easy to boil only the measured amount. It holds a reservoir of water in one chamber, while a separate chamber allows you to measure and fill exactly the amount you need for boiling. Sure, you could measure your water yourself, but if you're looking for a cordless electric tea kettle anyway, why not get one that helps you conserve water and energy?

You can get one at Nigel's Eco Store.
