Coffee Table Doggie Training

Bowhaus Coffee Table

Crate training a dog is an uncomfortable situation; the crates are ugly, and the large mesh on the collapsible crates means that my dog and I make eye contact - which makes me feel guilty. Puppy crates require a lot of space, so Katrina Herrndorf came up with a cute solution that recreates the natural places where a dog goes to get away. It's less traumatic for the puppy, and it's definitely easier on my decorating.

The Bowhaus puppy crate is made of grey powdered steel, with a lockable sliding pocket door for doggy ingress and egress. Serving double function as a side table by virtue of its good looks and solid construction, the crate converts to a great dog bed or kitty cabana when training is finished. The inspiration behind the Bowhaus is to bring the training puppy into a modern living space while using the space for two purposes.

The crate-cum-table comes in two sizes; a Studio for small dogs, and the Loft Haus for dogs up to fifty pounds. There's a removable plastic pan in the base for easy cleaning, and a waterproof foam core pad for a bit of comfort.

Those twelve hours a day watching HGTV have finally paid off. There's also an older interview with Katrina over at Pampered Puppy.
