Brake-Fast Bowl for dogs

Are you tired of seeing your dog gulping down food and wished he would slow down? If so, this unique contraption is specially for you (um, your dog I mean).
This patent-pending design provides a simple mechanism to stop dogs from eating their food too fast – it has curious looking projections on the inner surface that slow your dog's food intake, thus preventing Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV or 'Bloat'), a condition wherein dogs can go into a deep shock due to distension, and even die. A simple gadget to help such a serious issue for pet owners. See the demo here.

Actuallly, dogs are suppose to gulp down their food. If your dog is experiencing 'bloat' or other difficulties it is more likely you need to break feeding into two smaller feedings. For instance, if your dog needs 3cups of food a day, feed it 1.5 cups in the morning and again in the afternoon or evening. It isn't the speed in which they eat, it is the quantity they eat in one feeding. Saves you $14.99.

Bloat is usually seen in larger dogs, having to lower their heads to reach the food. To avoid bloat, raise the food dish. Depending on the size of dog, you may need to raise it 12 inches. (ex. Saint Bernards and Great Danes)

I have two fat basset hounds that eat all day. I feed them and usually they throw up. I gave them this and they never did again.

You can pretty much achieve the same thing by adding a few kiwis or tangerines to the feeding bowl.
