It's a Wrap!
OK, let's face it. Not all of us are destined for Hollywood, whether in front of the camera or behind it. I, unlike one or more of my esteemed colleagues here at Popgadget, did not attend film school at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. So, when it comes to making my film debut, it's not going to be much more than a montage of my home movies. Even that task seems onerous, though.
muvee Technologies has developed a perfect solution for those not intimately acquainted with the cutting room floor. Their autoProducer 5 software has a slick but simple control panel that lets even novice users like me set their favorite videos or slide shows to music, add titles and a whole host of effects with a few simple mouse clicks. autoProducer 5 lets you sit back while it does all the work of sorting through different video formats and hosts of photos. Once you've made your picks, a simple mouse flick and you can produce your own DVDs for distribution to friends and family. More advanced features are available to allow tweaking, once you are ready to progress.
I smell a ticket to the Oscars next year!

Hey, as long as you remember that in cinema less is often more. Look at your favorite movies, do you see a lot of transitions/effects between shots? Nope, usually just a simple cut to the next scene, often with the music as beat/break timer.
The K.I.S.S. principle seems to apply here ;)
