Expanding on its current lineup of MP3 Sound Cases like the MP3 Car Visor Sound Case that clips to your car visor and the Bicycle Sound Case that allows you to safely listen to music while cycling, Sakar introduces the Cooler Case that will keep your food and drinks cool while cranking out tunes as you picnic outdoors. The cooler part is relatively small at 14 x 10 or so inches, but enough to fit a few drinks and snacks. The exterior of the Cooler Case features 2 speakers and a pocket for your MP3 player. Like all their Sound Cases, the Cooler Case runs on a 9-volt battery and gets its audio feed through a built-in connector that plugs into the headphone jack of your MP3 player. Based on this review in the Canada Free Press, the sound quality isn't that great, but for an estimated retail price of $49, what would you expect?
