I'm not big on salting and peppering my food, but I know some people who season their already seasoned food so heavily, they could actually use motorized salt and pepper mills. These run on four AAA batteries, and shine a beam of light onto your plate so you can see how much seasoning is actually coming down. I just like their thoroughly modern look. I don't know if they're available anywhere in the U.S., but they're sold at online store innovations-e (Spanish language site).
