Eco Friendly and High Class

Q_furn.jpg

Eco friendly furniture no longer means hemp hammocks from Nicaragua. Haute couture furniture designers have decided to recognize the environmental and medical impact of their work. Most residential furniture is made with suspected carcinogenic materials including formaldehyde and polyurethane, but the Q Collection has created an entire line of home furnishings without a trace of either chemical. The collection only uses sustainable wood, organic cottons, and nontoxic glues and stains.

This company is seriously environmental. They claim the water that leaves their furniture mill is cleaner than the “Swiss drinking water that enters it.” They give their excess fabric clippings to local farmers to use as mulch. They have eliminated the highly toxic by-product dioxin from their furniture production process.

High design nurturing the ecosystem – one day our children’s children will look back, shake their heads and think, “What took them so long?”
