LED Water Bowl

discovery_dogbowl.jpg

Ok, I'm guilty of this. I've peered into my cat's water dish only to find that it's dry as a bone, often with a few nuggets of sad looking, dried up cat food stuck to the bottom. I then think to myself, bad pet owner! Bad! So what are the LEDs on this water bowl for? To let you know when the bowl is getting low on water -less than one quarter full to be exact. Of course you can always go over there and look for yourself, but what's the fun in that? And apparently, if you're like me, that doesn't always work. Maybe if I saw the glowing green LEDs from across the room I'd remember to fill the water bowl so my cat doesn't have to drink from the bathtub faucet.

From the Discovery Store.

But does it freak kitty or Fido out? I should hope they would get used to it. Definately a good idea to keep them out of the toilet.
