A Catchy Cheese Grater

Well, this is not at all a particularly glamorous gadget. In fact, some might not call it a gadget at all (I can just hear someone out there whining "but where's the technology in it?") Yes my dear friends, I know. But as gimmicky as this cheese grater may seem, I've always wanted one (even if I didn't know it until I laid my eyes upon this device.) I just keep thinking, obsessively (and pathetically) that if I bought one I might never have to clean up those little cheese slivers off of my cutting board and countertop ever again.

Even cheaper, get the same type of thing from IKEA. There are usually tons of them in bins in the kitchen section, for less than $5 a pop. I usually pick up a few to give to friends because there so gosh darned handy.

The one from Ikea is much better I think.
and not just in form.
It has non-slip goodness on the under carriage that holds it to the counter fairly well.

Those little slivers are the best part! I get to eat those even when my husband won't let me eat any of the cheese in the bowl (I'm kind of a cheese nut).
