WebServ USB web servers

webserv_usb.jpg

We all know about USB drives. They come in different storage sizes and in different shapes; you can even win some really cute ones through Popgadget as of today. But what might come as news to you, is the fact that now you can purchase a fully functional portable USB webserver configured on a USB drive. Yep, you got that right, for just $89 you can get a 128MB WebservUSB server (or the 1GB version for $399.95).

[The WebservUSB] features a user database that can handle many users for both HTTP and FTP services. Plus, these users exist without connection to the user accounts on the Windows based PC it's plugged into. On the web server side, WebServUSB handles CGI scripts, Perl, PHP, MySQL, Flash, RealMedia and Windows Media. Plus, any settings you make stay on the USB stick, making your site completely portable.

I am not very familiar with WEB servers, but from what I know this sounds pretty damn cool.
